Retesting Drivers
Sir, —“Concerned Motorist” has the right idea regarding fines. Lt is evident that it is useless imposing fiddling fines of £2 to £5. If the speed limit breakers, etc., knew they would be fined £4O or £5O, I would be very surprised if there was not a big reduction in traffic offences.—Yours, etc., ALSO CONCERNED. December 13, 1962.
