NEW MANAGERS FOR HOTELS

Appointed

Managers for two leading Christchurch hotels have been appointed from overseas. They are expected to take up their duties before the end of the year. Mr C- F. Wasler, a Swiss, has been managing hotels in England foe many years and will take over the management of the United Service Hotel. Mr B. Vozlinski. who has been manager or assistant manager of leading hotels in London, will go to the Clarendon Hotel. The appointments were made after the chairman of directors of Ballins Hotels. Ltd. (Mr N. W. Millner) interviewed many applicants during his recent visit to London. Mr Milner said both the managers were married to Englishwomen who had many years of experience in running hotels.
