A recent survey conducted by the Clothing Manufacturers’ Association of the United States disclosed the order of popularity of men’s suit colours for the autumn of 1961. It found olive tones to be leading black, charcoal grey, navy blue, blue tones, medium grey and brown tones, in that order.
