“Window-shopper” Looks At Men’s Fashions

For the autumn of this I year the order of the first I two most popular colours I was found to be reversed, I with black firmly in the I lead. For the rest of the popular colours there I were no changes from the I previous autumn. From the plain colours of a few years ago, the swing has been through the shadow-stripe range and into checks which share the popularity now with solid blacks. Checks range from the large, wide Prince of Wales check through plaids of many patterns to the smaller houndstooth. In some fabrics the solid black colour incorporates a plaid effect in the weave.
