All Blacks Help With £2OOO

The New South Wales RugbyUnion showed a profit from this season's Sydney club matches compared wtih a loss In 1961. The treasurer (Mr C. W. Blunt) said club game receipts would be at least £lOOO higher, with a profit of £2COO from the two All Black games in Sydney. Last vear the union had a deficit of £1735.

Mr Blunt said the success of the Wallabies in N>w Zealand had proved that the code had players to replace those who had gone to Rugby League. “Providing we don't lose any more, we should be able to face up very confidently to the Springboks next season." he said.
