A BICYCLE THROWN BY ANGRY RIOTERS hits a carload of policemen during a fight in the streets of Bari, Italy, between police and striking building workers. The workers, seeking improved wages, gathered for a protest demonstration in front of the headquarters of a group of construction companies. Police tried to break up the meeting when it blocked the traffic. About 50 persons were injured. Police used tear gas and fire hoses.
