Fascism
Sir.—Mr B. B. Thompson defends Fascists. Bela Kun was a Hungarian patriot, brutally betrayed and murdered by Fascist thugs. His crime: trying to put more food into hungry stomachs I know Hungary and how hungry they were in 1919 starvation forced upon them by imperialists like poor misguided B B. Thompson Such letters are more than a mistake: they are detestable. These writers do not know the Jews. I have found German. Hungarian. and Polish Jews honest, clever, hard-working, and scholastic And never have I dealt with any with such bigoted and stultified minds as those of some of our neo-Fascists.— Yours .etc., RALPH S. WHEELER. Timaru, August 22. 1962.
