CLEARANCES DISPUTE
No Further Action To Be Taken No further action will be taken by the Canterbury Rugby Union's management committee on the playing of A. Harris and W Morton for University when they had r.ot received cleaeances from the ChrisfcbtMbh Club. Last evening the committee’s permit committee said that it had investigated the matter and It recommended that because of fee lateness of the season no action be taken. A further recommendation that clubs should check thoroughly all registrations and clearances after the first two competition games next season was apgwoved.
