RUGBY Wallabies Banking On Good Victory

(New Zeaiuno Press Association, AUCKLAND, August 14. A capacity crowd of 10,000 is expected to see the Wallabies play their second match of the New Zealand tour, against Counties at Massey Park, Papakura, tomorrow. The Australians are regarding the match as a dress rehearsal for the first test, and are banking on another good performance from the team.

The Wallabies' forwards should meet tfceir opposition wife more conSdecce than they showed over the early stages at Gisborne. In traintoday they impressed wife their speed in the open The backs, too, showed a high standard ot speed and handling ability.

A newcomer to the team is R. J. Marks (outside centre), a largely inexperienced player, but one who could have distinct possibilities. Slightly stilted in his passing, Marks nevertheless has the physique and speed to become a first-class centre.

At first five-eighths, P F Haw’horne’s form will be watched closely He is the I'kely tert five-eighths, and cov'd confirm the choice with a good game tomorrow. Test Prospects

Another with test prospects is ths half-bock. K. V. McMullen, who created a good ■repress’on against Poverty Bay. Another performance of the same calibre and he v.-ouM assume a major threat to K. W C&tohpote's test place. The Wallabies’ answer to D. B. Clarke, the full-back. J. K. Leoefwn, was very impressive in goal-kicking practice today. He landed a series of dropkicks. several from the haifway line. It was two kicks such as these from penalties that helped New South Wales to beat the All Blacks. 12-3.

The Counties’ recit'd this year of one win in five provincial matches—they also

played and beat a Japanese steel firm’s team—is not particularly impressive, but several losses were narrow defeats. The win was a handsome one against the strong King Country combination. The teams are:—
