CARETAKERS TO RETIRE
Tribute By College Principal Mr and Mrs G. Jamieson who have decided to retire after being caretakers at the Teacher’s College for 15 years, have occupied a dual role at the college, according to the principal <Mr G Guy) Not only did they maintain the highest standards of cleanliness at the college. but by their friendly association with the staff and generations of students they had become an integral part of the college life, he said Mr Guy said the Jam eso.ns had kept open house for cups of tea for the staff and students, and during vacations many former students called on them to exchange friendly greetings or to thank them for help given during student days An emigrant from Scotland to Hudson Bay and then to New Zealand.
