Rugby Inter-School Match
(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU. July 18.
In a bright, open game, Timaru Technical College beat Christchurch Technical College. 22-6. in the annual inter-school Rugby match at Timaru today. The Timaru backs were a superior combination. I. Owens, at first five-eighths being outstanding He converted two tries and kicked two penalties. R. Ralstrlck was the best of the Christchurch backs.
The forwards were evenly matched. D. Rasmussen. R. McCone and C. Maclaren played well for Timaru, while R. Herman and P. Riddell were prominent for Christchurch. Tlmaru’s tries were scored by Rasmussen (2). J. Russell and M. Pelvln. Ralstrick and Herman scored tries for Christchurch.
