Pacer Sold To Australia
"The Press’* Special Service INVERCARGILL, June 21. A Southland novice pacer, Chief Girl, has been sold to Australia. She will be shipped shortly on the Waimea.
Chief Girl, which is to race in Tasmania, is a four-year-old My Chief mare from Sunmaid. She was raced by he? breeder, Mr J D. Mawdsley. of Edendale. She is a halfsister to the winners Jolly Butcher, Dead Shot, Royal Fight and Truant. Due to leave on the Waipori for Sydney tomorrow is the Radiant Walla gelding. Waitaki Child, which* is to race in New South Wales. Waitaki Child has failed, io win a race this season, but he has been several times placed.
