ENGLISH PARK IMPROVEMENT
Board’s Offer To Contribute
Piping of St Albans creek through English Park would cost £3300 without piling and £4BOO with piling, the works committee told the Christchurch Drainage Board last evening. The board offered to contribute £l5OO towards the cost of permanent piping of the drain. In March, the board was asked by the City Coun.cil to investigate improvement to the creek as part of the improvement scheme for the park.
