(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 20. The report of the Select Committee on the fishing industry was unlikely to be brought before the House this session, said the Minister of Marine (Mr Gerard) in the Address-in-Reply debate A great number of problems had to be resolved, he said But it seemed evident the industry needed a shot in the arm to stimulate energy. He hoped the inquiry would result in new wealth for the industry and a new source of wealth for the country.
