The digest H a pocket edition of the main statistics in the New Zeeland Official Yearbook* In the popular size introduced last year and cons if*.! ng of 268 page*, it is compact in form, but wide in its range of statistics and information.
The early portion of the digest gives detail* of the Executive Council, members of Parliament, judiciary, New Zealand representative* over«eas and oversees repreeen*~ - fives in New Zeeland. and Government departments with their chief administrat've officers This section is followed by several pages dealing with important economic indicators which are jupplemented by a set of informative diagrams The remainder of the booklet main’v consists of the very wide mnee of the statistics of New Zealand in’erspersed with diagrams There is a summary explaining the various social security benefits and war pensions.
