Doctors’ Pay Rise

The British Government last night approved schemes for giving the 20.000 doctors in the National Health Service more money and some general practitioners £5OO a year or more for “distinguished service." The move was announced in the House of Commons by the Minister of Health (Mr Enoch Powell)
