Driver’s Funeral

April 17 More than 150 leading personalities of the Australian motor sport and car industry, and friends today attended the funeral of the Scottish racing driver and aviator. Ron Flockihart, in Melbourne Flockhart, aged 38. was killed on April 12 when bis Mustang plane crashed on a flight from Melbourne to Sydney, preparatory to an attempt on the AustraliaEngland solo record for single-engined aircraft.
