JAGUAR SUCCESS IN SWITZERLAND
Both the Jaguar Mark X and the Jaguar E-type were on display at the Geneva Motor Show, where they are attracted considerable interest. The E-type was originally introduced at the Geneva show last year. The company lays special emphasis on the Swiss market, for its import regulations enable all manufacturers to compete on equal terms. During 1961 Jaguar were top sellers in Switzerland in the £2OOO to £3OOO class for the second year in succession. In 1961 the firm also showed a sales increase there of 120 per cent.
