University of Canterbury Motor Club's first event of the year, the beginners' rally will be held on April 1. Competitors will assemble in Rolleston avenue at 1.30 p m. Officers elected at the annual meeting were: president. Mr B D. Gardner; vice-president, Mr B. T. Andrews: secretary. Mr R. Kingston; treasurer. Mr M Speirs; club captain, Mr D. J. Grant; club vice-captain. Mr P. Kelly; bulletin editor. Mr D. J. Grant; committee. Messra J. Gibson. C Heitx. J. Hay. B. Wakelin. B. Withell. N. Reynolds, T. Waller and A. Cowdry.
Connell Meeting. The Radiological Advisory Council met yesterday at the Dominion X-ray and Radium Laboratory under the chairmanship of the DirectorGeneral of Health (Dr. H. B. Turbott). It was the council's first meeting for about $ year.
