Cargo handled at the port since the beginning of the board’s financial year in October now amounts to 599,343 tons, compared with 607,349 tons 12 months ago. Although less cargo was handled, more shipping used the port—lls ships with a total tonnage of 291,545, compared with 88 with a tonnage of 273,146.
