James Lanyon Poor, aged 38, a medical practitioner, of Shannon, was tonight committed to the Supreme Court for trial on six changes of unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged 14 The Lower Court hearing of the charges before Mr D G. Sinclair, S.M., tasted until 11.15 p.m. Detective Senior-Sergeant F. A. Gordon prosecuted and Mr G. L. McLeod, of Wellington, represented Poor.
