Industries Fair Attractions
A major New Zealand talent quest, and possibly a troupe of Chinese magicians from Singapore, will be among the attractions at this year's Industries Fair. The fair will be held in Canterbury Court, at the Addington Show Grounds, from August 16 to September 1, it was reported last evening to the council of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association. Although the fair was still seven months away, there was an exceptionally keen demand for space, reported Mr A S. Farrar, chairman of the fair executive One of the big attractions at the Wellington International Trade Fair, an oil company’s exhibit, would be a prominent exhibit at this vear’s fair, said Mr Farrar A new ground lay-out had been prepared to accommodate it.
