MR N. S. COXHEAD Mr Norman Sowa rd Coxhead. for 15 years the manager and a director of Group Travel, Ltd.. Christchurch died on Tuesday. He was 65 Mr Coxhead was prominent in tourist and group travel circles He entered the travel industry before World War I then served in France with the New Zealand Rifle Brigade during the war. He whs invalided home after being badly wounded at Passchendaele. His recreations included golf and tennis. Mr Coxhead was born in Timaru. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs Y. Shepherd.

Mr R. S. Glendining (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Dec. 19. Mr Robert Stuart Glendining, Dunedin branch manager of Ross and Glendining, Ltd., and a former director of the concern, died this morning. He was 62. Mr Glendining was a former president of the Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen’s Association of Otago, and of the United Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen’s Association of New Zealand. He was president of the Otago Boxing Association for many years and a past president of the New Zealand Boxing Association. Born in Dunedin, Mr Glendining was educated at the Maori Hill School and Waitaki Boys' High School. Mr Glendining is survived by his wife, one son. Graham, of Dunedin, and one daughter, Mrs J. H. Rhodes, of Auckland.

MR M. J. COOPER (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 19. Mr Mervin Jack Cooper, of Pukekohe, has died aged 53. Mr Cooper was a member of the Pukekohe Borough Council, and of a number of sporting clubs. He was well-known in Dominion hockey circles and was appointed manager of the New Zealand hockey team which toured Australia last year. He played representative hockey for Wellington from 1931 to 1936 and also played for Auckland. Mr Cooper started an accountancy business in Pukekohe in 1939. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
