RIVER CARNIVAL
Appeal For More Entries
An appeal to commercial and sporting oranisations to enter floats in the river carnival which is to be held on Saturday, November 25, has been made by the Canterbury Public Relations Officer (Mr E. G. Beckett) in a circular. Mr Beckett said. The display costing £2 would consist of arrangements of existing display material with pot plants, coloured lights and car head lamps illuminating feature products. One sporting organisation planned to have members demonstrating on a platform mounted on the rear of a launch, said Mr Beckett -
