Thieves Take Safe

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 16. Thieves stole a safe holding between £350 and £4OO from the offices of the Auckland Laundry and Dry Cleaners, Ltd., Surrey crescent, last night after an attempt to blow it open with explosives apparently failed. Yesterday, detectives found two safes stolen last month from Tattersfield, Ltd., Richmond road. Company records dating back to 1912, and for which the company had offered £lOO reward, were found in one safe.
