Council Accepts £BO4O Tender A tender of £BO4O was accepted by the City Council last evening for the building of the Burwood library. The successful tenderer was the J.J. Construction Company, Ltd., and gave as the completion date June 23, 1962. Eleven tenders were received for the work, ranging from £7666 to £11,875.
