(Special Crspdt N.Z.P.A.) KRUGERSDORP, Nov. 15. The Weather was cold, with an overcast sky When the New Zealand cricketers travelled 20 miles from Johannesburg to Krugersdorp this morning for a two-day match against Transvaal Country Districts on the West Rand Consolidated Mine sports ground at Krugersdorp today. The ground was well turfed and the wicket hard, favouring fast bowlers. P Armstrong won the toss for Country Districts and elected to bet. There were a few hundred people present. Armstrong and Rutter opened for the Country DiaJ- Cameron and R. C. Motz. After three runs were scored, Rutter mistimed a stroke against Motz and was eaught by B. w. Yuile without scoring. When Armstrong tried to pull Metz, the ball came off the edge of the bat and J. W. Guy ran in to take the catch. Schubach was clean-bowled by Cameron with a bell which swung in late from the off when the total was at 81.
With only one run added, Cameron claimed his second wicket of the over when he had Oosthuizen caught by P. T. Berton at first slip Scores:— ” tANB^^^t WrrßY n Motz IS D.
