Hearings In Mississippi (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) JACKSON (Mississippi), November 12 Two United States Justice Department suits against Mississippi segregation will go before three-judge Federal Courts this month. The cases will be heard in Greenville on November 20 and in Jackson on November 21. The Greenville suit asks the Federal Court to abandon State laws which require segregated facilities for inter-State passengers to stop Mississippi officials from enforcing segregation, and to forbid racial discrimination against inter-State passengers. The Jackson suit asked for an order to outlaw footpath segregation signs placed by the city of McComb near Greyhound bus and Illinois Central Railway terminals. «
