The exploratory shaft at the west arm ot Lake Manepouri had been excavated to a depth of 517 ft ty Saturday night The shaft will be taken to only 690 ft in the meantime. It was to have gone to a depth of 750 ft However, from WOft, which will be about the top of the proposed underground power house, a horizontal tunnel will be excavated and some core drilling done.
