AMALGAMATION OF AIRLINES
Manager Denies Rumours IN 2 Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 29. Rumours of an amalgamation between the National Airways Corporation and Tasman Empire Airways were denied today by the general manager of T.E.A L, Mr F. A. Reeves Mr Reeves said that the question Had been considered many times before, but there was no current thought on the possibility. The two airlines had virtually a common board of directors, and worked cloaely together in various ways, be said. The whole trend was for the two companies to get closer together wherever possible.
