AT EARLS COURT

The London Motor Show at Earls Court will open on October 18 and last until October 28. Sixty-two stands will show the latest model cars from Britain, France. Germany, Holland, Canada. Czechoslovakia, Sweden, the United States, Italy and Russia. British manufacturers will take pride of place and will make the largest contribution to the ground floor display. In 1960 attendance at the show was more than 428,530 and it is hoped that this figure will be exceeded this year. Visitors from overseas are given special consideration. On showing their passports they are admitted free and given a catalogue and a badge which attracts the special attention of exhibitors. Interpreters are available in a comfortable lounge which is for the exclusive use of overseas visitors.
