Pit Stops
Main changes at Ardmore this year are the elimination of the heats for the New Zealand Grand Prix itself and the substitution of a fresh event—the Bardahi Ardmore Championship for New Zealand drivers. Of the eight races only two are on a handicap basis. The programme will be made up to 10 events by the inclusion of both the senior and junior New Zealand Motor-cycle T.T. races. One of the most spectacular events will be the Admore Sports Car Trphy race, with its Le Mans start. This will be followed by the 850 c.c. B.M.C. Saloon Car scratch race, a new event on the programme, prompted by the success of these little cars in overseas saloon races.
