Recording Of Mr Nash

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 21. In the House of Representatives, Mr W. J. Scott (Government, Rodney) asked the Minister of Broadcasting (Mr Kinsella) if he would honour a promise made but not carried out by his predecessor in the Labour Government and make available to National Party members a tape recording of the final broadcast address of the 1957 election campaign by Mr Nash.

In an immediate reply. Mr Kinsella said the whole future of the broadcasts was under consideration and discussion with the Leader of the Opposition and as a result it was hoped that the Broadcasting Service would be relieved of the need to retain records of 14 to 15 yean old.
