Palmerston North Beaten (N.Z. Prtu Assoclntiun) PALM. NORTH Sept. 21. After only moderate success in the South Island, the touring Wallaroos squash rackets team scored a very convincing win over the strong Palmerston North side in Palmerston North tonight. The Wallaroos, showing the benefit of continuous match play, won by three matches to one. The only Palmerston North player to win his match was the New Zealand champion. C. Waugh. He beat R. 'Diomas, the South Australian champion and number eight player in Australia. Results (with Australian names first) were: R TTiomas Jost to C. Waugh, 5-9. 5-9. 1-9; P. Papst beat B. Clarke. 9-4. 9-1, 9-3; R Pratt beat P. Lindsay. 5-9. 9-4. 9-4. 9-3; L. Anderson beat A. Johns, 10-8. 9-4, 9-4.
