TE WHANGA BULL SALE

MASTERTON, Sept, 15. Twenty-three of the total offering of 26 Te Whanga Aberdeen Angus bulls offered on account of Mr P. J. Borthwick today averaged 169gns. Prices ranged from 100 to 300 gns, with the top price bull being purchased by the Admiral Station, Masterton. There was only a moderate attendance at the sale, with a small representation of outside buyers. The bulls were well grown and came forward in excellent condition, but the average price was slightly below that of last year.
