U.N. Posts In Congo

(N.Z.PA.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW YORK, September 2. Mr Mahmoud Khiari, of Tunisia, today was named chief of United Nations civilian, operations in the Congo, and Brigadier Joseph Michel, of Ghana, was appointed Chief of Staff of the United Nations force there. The appointments were announced by the United Nations SecretaryGeneral (Mr Hammarskjold), Mr Khiari will be in charge of all technical assistance provided in the Congo by the United Nations. He has been serving as United Nations cwisuMant in public administration there since last November.
