(N.Z.P.A -Reuter —Copyright) LONDON. June 9. Dr. Griffith Pugh. scientific leader in Sir Edmund Hillary’s expedition to the Himalayas, who arrived at London airport yesterday from New DeW. said that Sir Edmund Hillary had completely recovered. The expedition set out to discover how man would react in high altitudes without the use of oxygen. During one climb last month. Sir Edmund Hillary collapsed and had a mild stroke. Asked if this was due to their not using oxygen equipment, Dr. Puglh said: “I would not like to say that at all. We didn’t go particularly high."
