BROADCASTING BAN
Rugby Matches In Whangarei (N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI. May 1 Broadcasting of matches played at Rugby Park under the control of the Whangarei Rugby Union is to cease. This was decided by the union’s management committee last night after discussion had been taken “in committee.” At its previous meeting the committee referred the proposed resolution to stop broadcasting back to clubs. The resolution stopping broadcasting as from May 6 was later confirmed in open meeting.
