Swimming World Record To Australian Girl
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter — Copyright) TOKYO, April 2. A new world record for the women's 100 metres butterfly was set here today by Australia’s 17-year-old Jan Andrew. Her time of Imin B.9sec climaxed the two days of Japan’s third national indoor swimming championships. A squad of five Australians competed. They ended the championships with the one world record and four Japanese national records.
