The first and second heats of the No. 11 club race were held by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club on Victoria Lake, Hagley Park, during the weekend. Mr R. Macdonald, chief reporter of the Dunedin “Evening Star.” has been appointed public relations officer for the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation. He will take up his new appointment in Wellington soon.
