Arms Captured By Government
HAVANA. February R The Cuban Ministry of Armed Forces claimed today that a large air-drop of guns, ammunition and food supplies intended for antt-Govemment forces in the central Cuban Escambray Mountains missed the target area and was captured by Government troops. United Press International reported. The statement was issued ss parochial and private school students carried their stayhome strike against the Government into its third day, after a night of Increased terrorist activity in Havana and elsewhere. The Ministry reported that several planes dropped 15 parachutes with 88 boxes containing "modem arms" and food over southern Las Villas, but they drifted behind Government lines. Terrorist activity continued last night. A group of gunmen opened fire on a militiaman in Havana from a speeding car and severely wounded him.
About the same time four counter - revolutionaries attacked a bus on a highway outside Havana and tried to bum it. Police wounded and captured one of the attackers.
