£30,600 GIVEN FOR BULL
New British Record
EDINBURGH, February » A new British record was set at Perth yesterday, when Mr Robert Adam, of Glam is, Scotland, paid £30,000 for a 10-month-old bull, Evril of Wandel. New Zealand raised its quota at the two-day bull sales to four head for a total of £33,005 with the purchase of Proctor of Westdrums for more than £BOOO guineas. This was the third highest price of the day. New Zealand's average purchase price was far above ‘he average of £847 for Sl4 head sold over the two days. Exports sales, dominated by the Argentine, were slightly down on the two days at 52 head bought for a total of £ 124,533. Argentine bought 41 totalling £72,555. North America one for £11.350. and other South American countries five for £7OO.
