Speed-Boat Racing PRAISE FOR LAKE KARAPIRO

American Champion’s Views (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 27. The American speedboat champion, K. Harman, was an enthusiastic spectator at the speedboat championships at Lake Karapiro today. Harman, who has held four world records in the 48 C.I. class with his boat, Tinker Toy, said he had seen most of the speedboat courses in the world. "There is just nothing to beat this course at Karapiro," he said. “I cannot understand why you do not advertise New Zealand more—it has so much to offer. After all, we are only 16 hours’ flying time away.’’
