Adoption Annulled Before Wedding

Ronald Travis was adopted by Mr and Mrs J. Travis, dairy farmers, of Boolara, South Gippsland, seven years ago. They had several children of their own, including a daughter, Joy. Under Victorian law, Ronald and Joy were legally brother and sister and could not marry, so Ronald had the adoption annulled. Best man and bridesmaid were the bride’s brother and sister and former brother and sister by adoption of the bridegroom.
