APPEAL FOR RADIO EARPHONES

General Shortage At St. George’s An appeal has been made for sets of radio earphones for patients in St. George's Hospital by Mrs Janet Williams, president of the Friends of St. George's Hospital. Patients in the hospital have facilities provided to enable them to listen in to radio programmes and to the relay of services Conducted in the hospital chapel, but full advantage cannot be taken of these facilities because of a general shortage of earphones. Anyone who has sets they wish to dispose of can leave them at St. George’s Hospital, er ’Phone 57-179 stating where they may be collected.
