Escaper Surrenders To Searching Warders
(New Zealand Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. June 30. Eight hours after he escaped from Waikeria borstal, near Te Awamutu, Milton Robert Watson, aged 19, gave himself up to the wardens near Korakanul at about 5 p.m. today. Watson, who is a painter, escaped from the housing area soon after 8.30 a.m. Watson is serving a training term for breaking and entering and car conversion.
