» (From Our Own Reporter) ! WELLINGTON, April 1. A Government spokesman said tonight that suggestions that the Rugby Union had asked for a direction or re-appreciation from the Department of External Affairs was without foundation the department is in close touch with overseas sources on developments in South Africa, but unless specifically asked to do’ so by the Rugby Union, it will not venture an opinion on whether or not a team should be sept. •
