SPEEDBOAT RACING
New Brighton Club There was good water and good weather for the New Brighton Power-boat Club’s club day races yesterday. A good attendance of spectators saw some fast racing. Results were:— B and C Class Combined.—First race: Duo (J. Peverill), Bmin 6sec, 1; Chatterbox (J. Williams) 2; Flamingo (W. Baker), 8. Second race: Duo, 6min 9sec, 1; Kowhai (G. Walker) 2, Sabrina (I. Nugent) 3. Third race: Fiesta (B. Downey), Smin 35sec, 1; Fireball (S. Besley) 2; Sabrina 3. A Class, Inboard.—First race: Corvette (A. Idiens), 3min Msec. 1; Outlaw (G. Duggan) 2. Apache (J. Shaw) 3. Second race: Voodoo (W. Stokes), 4tnin 2sec, 1; Corvette 2; Outlaw 3. Third race: Corvette. 3mln 45sec, 1; outlaw 2; Apache 3. Outboards.—First race: Vulcan (C. McNamara), 4mln 15sec, 1; Skate (P. Underwood) 2; George (J. Sagar) 3. Second race: Skate. 3min 45sec, 1; Vulcan 2; Hustler (F. Williams) 3. Third race: Down Beat (J.
