New Handicapper For U.R.C.

Mr Kevin Ryan, aged 45, one of the best-known figures in Victorian country racing, has been appointed handicapper to the Victoria Racing Club. He succeeds Mr C. H. Davis. Victoria Racing Club handicapper since 1940, who resigned recently because of ill health. Mr Ryan will issue his first V.R.C. weights for the New Year’s Flemington meeting.
