NEW BOWATER SUBSIDIARY

The Australian company, Bowater Paper Company Pty., Ltd., has formed a New Zealand subsidiary with a capital of £5OOO. The objects of the new company are stated as manufacturers, importers, exporters and dealers in paper of all kinds, etc. The subsidiary, which was registered as a private company in Auckland today as Bowater Paper Company (N.Z.), Ltd., will attend to the sale of Tasman Pulp and Paper products, said a spokesman for Bowaters in Wellington today. Shareholders in the New Zealand subsidiary are Bowater Paper Company Pty., Ltd., Australia, 4996 £1 shares; Messrs A. Lissenden, J. F. N. McKinnell, R. W. Turner and R. J. Brideson, all of Australia, one share each.
